=====================

May 23rd:

Sorry it has been so long for this update.  I have been moved several times, and my mail has not followed me.  It has been weeks since I have gotten mail.  Someone decided I should be separated from another inmate who is apparently fighting the IRS so that we don’t get involved in “criminal activity.”  We have different judges and different issues and I am sure that neither of us want to get in any “criminal activity” separately or together.

I had begun sharing Christ with this man and he was beginning to ask questions.  Although I barely know him and had spoken with him only a few times, I was earnestly praying that God would allow me to be instrumental in his salvation.

Instead, I was moved to Marianna, Florida.  The only place they had to keep me was the suicide watch cell in solitary confinement!  It was a seven foot by fourteen foot cell.  Its concrete slab in the middle to sleep on was surrounded by steel rings used for tying people down.  I got out one hour a day to exercise in a bigger cage, but for eight days, it was just the Lord and I.

That was quite an experience!  God was so good.  I sang every song that I could remember and read the “Good News Bible” that they had there.   It was a very hard experience, but a time of revival for me as well.  I pray that I do not have to endure it again.

Then I was told I was being moved.  I had leg irons, hand cuffs, and a waist chain for the entire eleven hours.  The restraints get real uncomfortable real quick.  I was moved to Tallahassee, a much nicer holding facility with about forty other men.  There was a small library area with a small table where I could read and study.  It was clean, well-lit, and quiet.  The best CO’s I have encountered were there.  They treated the men firmly but with respect.

I had the opportunity to read several books that I have been wanting to read for a long time.  Frank Peretti’s book “This Present Darkness” was especially encouraging to me.

I am also writing a new book, “Help, I’m a Public School Student.”  I plan for it to be written in an “E-mail” format with students writing in questions for me to answer and geared for the Junior High and High School student.  Although it is more difficult to write without any research materials or my computer, I am making progress and have about twenty-five pages written so far.

Next, I was told I was being moved to South Carolina via a transfer in Atlanta.  After being taken out at 3:00 a.m., God answered my prayer to be allowed to be “the orderly” for the trip.  The orderly passes out drinks and cleans up the messes.  I was very grateful I was granted this privilege, because it meant that I did not have to be chained for the twelve hour trip.

I witnessed to a famous man during this part of the journey.  He was not open to the gospel, but I pray that the seed I planted will be used by God to help reach him for Christ.

At present I remain in the United States Penitentiary, a maximum security facility.   I am told that I will again be moved without notice at some future time.  I must close as my four-inch pencil dulls so quickly!

I continue to plead to God for my wife’s sentencing, for the CSE Team and the Creation Ministry, for a Stay request to be granted while our case is on appeal, and for our case to be overturned.

Above all, God is still in charge.  Thank you to those of you who have been faithful in supporting us with prayer and finances.  Thank you!

The prison system is an incredible mission field!  The needs are so great that it is overwhelming.  The federal system gives long sentences so many inmates are very depressed and angry.  I continue to try to minister to the many, many hurting people with whom I come in contact.  Let’s each continue yielding each day to HIS leading for HIS glory.

=====================

Jesus almost did not mention the foreign Roman occupiers of Israel, when He walked among us about 2,000 years ago.

False religious teachers though, who wanted most the respect of men, they were a different matter. Many times Christ spoke strongly against their sort. (See Matthew 23.)

Many modern prison chaplains are Christians. I would expect that most of them are Christians, since it can be a thankless ministry. But it stands to reason that some of them are not. And they, like the Pharisees before them, can’t stand the Gospel message and those who would spread it. It cuts in on their turf.

Brother Hovind got in trouble with the chaplain in the federal prison where he was previously held. The chaplain actually tried to get Dr. Hovind in trouble on more than one occasion. And the chaplain told him to stop holding Bible studies. The chaplain called them “unauthorized meetings.” Dr. Hovind was following the rules that no more than 5 men could meet together. He kept holding the Bible studies (only with 3-4 others at a time) and witnessing to his fellow inmates whenever he could. And just like before, in the county jail, men were responding to the Word! They were coming to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Suddenly last week Dr. Hovind was shipped out of that institution and sent to another, where he is now in a bare cell, isolated in solitary confinement, as was learned and reported yesterday. …

UPDATE ON DR. HOVIND

He has been moved again, as of sometime yesterday (May 9th). He is now in a prison somewhere near Tallahassee, Florida. No word yet on the reason for the move nor on his present circumstances or health at this time.

P.A.
============================

Letters and postcards can be sent. No food; no hardbound books; no CDs or DVDs; do not put “Dr.” in front of his name. All mail is opened and checked in front of guards.

Paul Abramson

P.S. The “May 7″ post from Brother Hovind above - was actually written by him over one week ago, from before he was suddenly moved to the new location and put into solitary confinement a few days ago.  …

=====================

[Prison officials have given the family two different reasons.  One is that it is for his own protection as the new location houses many more violent offenders.  The other is that he had violated some rule(s) at the old location.  At this time CSE does not know for sure, and this much was not learned until after he had been moved.  Dr. Hovind was allowed one 4-minute phone call in order to communicate his present circumstances.  He was moved without much warning.  No one knows when his situation may change again.

Your prayers are earnestly coveted.

============================

DR. HOVIND - was just moved to a different federal facility.

He is now in solitary confinement for 23 1/2 hours per day, in a small cell. He sleeps (at this time) on the concrete floor. A guard has provided him with part of a “Good News for Modern Man” Bible. He has nothing else, as far as we know. There are conflicting reports from the new facility on whether or not he can receive visitors. He has had a very limited “approved visitors” list up until now.

His new address:

Kent Hovind #06452-017
FCI Marianna
PO Box 7007
Marianna, FL. 32447

I couldn't edit, hence my re-typing the message.

I encourage friends / supporters of brother Kent Hovind to try & visit him there, encourage those they know support him to visit him there & kindly inform us on his welfare. It would be good to know if they make it difficult for people to visit him as this will help brethren to know what to pray more for him.

This is how you should pray for him...............that he will repent.  What he did to be put in jail isn't of God.  The only time the bible allows us to break the law is when it directly goes against God's laws.  Refusing to pay taxes is not a good testimony.

THE POWER TO DESTROY IRS loses challenge to prove tax liability Lawyer is acquitted after arguing income levy lacks legal foundation Posted: July 26, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern By Bob Unruh © 2007 WorldNetDaily.com The Internal Revenue Service has lost a lawyer's challenge in front of a jury to prove a constitutional foundation for the nation's income tax, and the victorious attorney now is setting his sights higher. "I think now people are beginning to realize that this has got to be the largest fraud, backed up by intimidation and extortion and by the sheer force of taking peoples property and hard-earned money without any lawful authorization whatsoever," lawyer Tom Cryer told WND just days after a jury in Louisiana acquitted him of two criminal tax counts. And before you consign him to the legions of "tin foil hat brigades" who argue against paying taxes, and then want payment to explain how to do that, he addresses the issue up front. (Story continues below) Sponsored Listings Hot Stock Alert Gulf Ethanol Corp (OTC: GFET). Ethanol, Biofuels, Green Energy. House Payments Fall Again $430,000 Mortgage for $1299/Mo. Paying too much? No credit check reqd. Defensive Stock Alert Oxfund Funding, Inc (OTC:OXFD) Profit From Mortgage Meltdown. "These snake oil peddlers have conned millions of dollars out of many well-intended patriots and left a trail of broken lives in their wake. … These charlatans should be avoided, not only because they will lead you to bankruptcy and prison, but because by association they discredit those who are telling the truth," he said. The truth, he said, is where he comes in, with the launch of a new Truth Attack website that is intended to build on his victory, and create a coalition of resources to defeat – ultimately – the income tax in the United States. The logo for the new Truth Attack campaign against income taxes Although the legal citations in the case tend to run the length of paragraphs, Cryer told WND the underlying issue is not that complicated. Essentially, he argued that income is not necessarily any money that comes to a person, but rather categories such as profit and interest. He said the free exchange of labor for compensation has been upheld as a right by the Supreme Court, but that doesn't necessarily make the compensation income. If ever such an argument were to be presented widely, Cryer said, the income to the federal government would plummet. But not to worry, he said, the expenses could be reduced equally by eliminating programs, departments and agencies that also have no foundation in the Constitution. "The Founding Fathers intentionally restricted the taxing powers of the new federal government as a measure of restraint on its size. By exceeding that limited taxing authority the federal government has been able to obtain resources beyond its intended reach, and that money has enabled the federal government to exceed its authority," he said. For example, he said, the Constitution does not empower the federal government to regulate education, or employment, and agriculture, yet it does so. The jury in U.S. District Court in Louisiana voted 12-0 to find Cryer, of Shreveport, not guilty of failure to file income taxes for two years. He had been indicted in 2006 on charges of failing to pay $73,000 to the IRS in 2000 and 2001. The next step in his personal case will be up to the IRS and prosecutors, if they choose to continue the issue, he said. But for the rest of the nation, he's working with Save-a-Patriot, the Free Enterprise Society, Live Free Now and his own Lie Free Zone to spread the message of the truth. "There are three points that are important," he told WND. "There's no law making the average working man liable [for income taxes], there's no law or regulation that allows the IRS to contend that earnings are 100 percent profit received in exchange for nothing, and the right to earn a living through any lawful occupation is a constitutionally protected fundamental right, and it is exempt from taxation." Spokesman Robert Marvin in Washington's IRS office told WND the Internal Revenue Code provides for taxation on salaries or wages, but when pressed for a specific citation, or constitutional provision, he said, "I can't comment." Cryer's encounter with tax law began more than a decade ago when a friend told him the income tax was sham. Cryer started researching, hoping to keep his friend out of trouble. But his conclusions, after years of research, were exactly what his friend told him. He researched not only tax laws, but also the documents pertaining to the drafting of the U.S. Constitution as well as the first income tax. He said throughout his battle, he's offered at every turn to pay taxes if the IRS could show him the authorization, and that never has happened. "The Criminal Investigation Division and Department of Justice both responded only with 'your position is frivolous.' I had never stated a position, so how could they know whether it was frivolous?" he said. "Imagine my sending you a bill for $1,000 and when you call me and ask what the bill was for I simply said, 'that position is frivolous, just write the check and send it in.'" His acquittal, he said, was a precedent because it means "people can see and recognize the truth." He said multiple Supreme Court opinions have affirmed an individual's ownership of his or her own labor, and "exercising your fundamental rights" is not taxable. "It is definitely a trade. What most people receive in the form of wages, salaries or in my case fees that they personally earned for their labor is not received in exchange for nothing." He said there might be a profit that should be taxable, but there might not. "The IRS lets Wal-Mart sell a trillion dollars worth of goods, but they can back out their cost of goods [before being taxed,]" he said. "The IRS considers, in the case of a Wal-Mart wage earner, 100 percent of what he takes in is profit." "But he's using his life, energy and work lifespan, and depleting it as he goes," Cryer told WND. "[Working] is a God-given fundamental right that is protected under the Constitution and can't be taxed any more than exercising freedom of speech." While he waits to see what, if anything, the IRS and Justice Department will do next in his case, he's working to coordinate the groups that are battling taxation as unconstitutional. "I have started a campaign to unify [the work] and we've got a number of organizations that are sponsoring and supporting this campaign," he said. The goal is to get everyone "who is aware of the truth" organized so they can spread the word. He warned without a restoration of constitutional basics, the nation is lost. "Read your Constitution and you will see that the federal role does not include ANY authority to regulate or tax any citizen directly and that WE expressly reserved the right to rule and govern ourselves as States, not as mere political subdivisions," his website says. "The Constitution does not allow the government to run your lives, but the money it is stealing from millions of Americans is the fuel for its over-reaching and kibitzing. Take the money back and we and our states and communities can again be free," he said. The fight is over "our FREEDOM from rule by a DISTANT RULER, just as we fought to free ourselves of a distant England over 200 years ago," he said. -- Joel Griffith Slavic Gospel Association

to this low life who talks about getting hit by a car, you are very brave behind a monitor. You must have lost your wife to God and its all because of the preachings of Dr. Hovind that would explain the hate for him.  Well you are obviously no man and probably have a very low self esteem.  Dont worry because we all will be praying for you. That was hard to say. But I am sure God would want that.  You need help and maybe one day you will get it.

I hope a family member of Hovind reads this.  I feel deeply saddened to know that this great man is in Jail and I read a very hateful message above mine that displays a level of ignorance and depravity that curls my stomach.  The spiritual battle is on and I am afraid it is going to get very ugly from here on out.

 Jeremiah 2:26-29 (New International Version)

26 "As a thief is disgraced when he is caught,
so the house of Israel (America)is disgraced—
they (Evolutionists), their kings and their officials,
       their priests and their prophets.

27 They say to wood, 'You are my father,'
and to stone, 'You gave me birth.'
They have turned their backs to me
       and not their faces;
yet when they are in trouble, they say,
       'Come and save us!'

28 Where then are the gods you made for yourselves?
Let them come if they can save you
       when you are in trouble!
For you have as many gods
as you have towns, O Judah.

29 "Why do you bring charges against me?
You have all rebelled against me,"
       declares the LORD.

This totally applies to the United States of America.  Oh waaa waaa boo hoo wail and crying when hit by Katrina, 9-11 World Trade Center attack, and a host of other disasters.  America cries out to God when something bad happens but returns to its sin like a dog to its own vomit almost before the smoke clears.  I don't care how many Christians there are out there in our precious country...the US Government is now a pagan and idolatrous nation and the Evilution....I mean Evolution/humanitarian movement has brainwashed this nation into believing that rocks gave birth to humans.  The Israelites did it first as described by Jeremiah and we are doing it right now.  Oh hail our father the ROCK!  Only now our idol is Evilution and we worship man as God.  We are in some serious trouble here.  Will God's people be able to get out of this one?  Hovind is being persecuted just as it says in Jeremiah for the same reasons.....because a sick depraved society calls a rock it's daddy and placed itself above God.  Heaven help us all!  Glory be to our creator and Lord Jesus Christ!

This is an outrage!!  It's bad enough he's in jail, but the way he's getting treated is just outright terrible!  There is no reason for him to be in a maximum security prison and to be in cuffs and leg irons when he's being moved.  This is a good Christian man who is spreading not only the Gospel, but the truth of God's creation as well.  This is a great American citizen, not Hannibal Lecter or Osama Bin Laden!  Let's not treat him as such!  If I were a lawyer, I would take his case pro bono and get him the heck out of this mess in which he's not supposed to be in.  I'm sure he has attorneys on his side, but if you are an attorney reading this, please do what you can to help, even if you don't make any money on this.  You are doing work for God if you do.  Dr. Hovind needs all the help he can get.  All this was was a witchhunt to wrongfully persecute an innocent man.

Fuck Off (yourretardedyoufucker)
Dude chill. It sucks, but you don't have to be a total asshole without giving anything of value to the discussion.

"I don't care how many Christians there are out there in our precious country...the US Government is now a pagan and idolatrous nation and the Evilution....I mean Evolution/humanitarian movement has brainwashed this nation into believing that rocks gave birth to humans. "
- Here we go again! The US government is supposed to be secular, free from religion so that all it's citizens can practice their own religion and not be forced on them another. "Evolution movement" HA! good one ;) Sorry to break it to you but there is no such thing. If you claim that there is please give me a link, phone number or email so i could join them.
And about the "rocks gave birth to humans"-thingy, well look up strawman and come back. No one in their right state of mind believe that.

"Oh hail our father the ROCK!  Only now our idol is Evilution and we worship man as God."
- STRAAAAAAAAWMAN! Why would we idolize evolution? Why take comfort in something non-religious? Oh and please source the claim that we worship man as God. I have no idea where you got that from since i know no one who does just that.

"Hovind is being persecuted just as it says in Jeremiah for the same reasons.....because a sick depraved society calls a rock it's daddy and placed itself above God."
- You didn't read the documents from the trial? Hovind broke the law on many many accounts and have to take the punishment. Are you gonna make a connection to the persecution of Gallileo as well? How he was persecuted for his ideas and had to renounce them because of the church. Or maybe the Inquisition. That was a nice chapter in history wasn't it? You had all the power in the world to do as your good book told you.

"Heaven help us all!  Glory be to our creator and Lord Jesus Christ!"
- Thank God he's not listening! OPS! I DID NOT JUST DO THAT! :O

"If I were a lawyer, I would take his case pro bono and get him the heck out of this mess in which he's not supposed to be in."
- Oh no that wouldn't help. All the offences he's been persecuted by a court of law doesn't make him great or special. It makes you biased and dishonest. Read the damn documents from the court!

"Dr. Hovind needs all the help he can get.  All this was was a witchhunt to wrongfully persecute an innocent man."
- No, not a doctor, not an innocent man.
This is a peer-review of MR. Hovinds dissertation (http://www.noanswersingenesis.org.au/bartelt_dissertation_on_hovind_thesis.htm). He is not a legal Ph. D. Claiming to be a doctor when the Ph. D is from not from an accredited university or college is illegal in a large number of countries.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_accreditation
"In the United States, unaccredited degrees may not be acceptable for financial aid, civil service or other employment. Criminal penalties sometimes apply should such a degree be presented in lieu of one from an accredited school. The use of such degrees are restricted in Oregon, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, North Dakota, Nevada and Washington where improper usage can result in misdemeanor charges punishable by fines. For instance, the state of Washington passed a bill in March 2006 "prohibiting false or misleading college degrees." The state senate "unanimously amended and approved a bill that would make issuing or using a false degree a class C felony, a crime of fraud that could warrant five years in prison and a $10,000 fine." Oregon has a procedure in which unaccredited schools can apply for authorization from the state, which maintains a list of approved and exempt unaccredited schools which are permitted there. An Oregonian wishing to use an unaccredited degree not approved by the state must make it clear that the school is not accredited."
This is the university Hovind got his degree from:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Bible_University
"Patriot Bible University, formerly known as Patriot University, is an unaccredited fundamentalist Christian correspondence school located in Del Norte, Colorado. Critics charge it is a diploma mill, lacking sufficient academic standards to award degrees."

And now i have shown why MR. Hovind is breaking the law =)

Okay sir, I understand where you're coming from.  Maybe I don't know the whole story of why he's in jail.  But Mr. Hovind doesn't deserve to be treated like a hardened criminal, like someone dangerous, when there are real criminals we need to catch.  There are Al Qaeda operatives who have training camps on OUR OWN SOIL!  There are murderers and child molesters out there.  Why not spend out time and resources to go catch them instead of locking up Mr. Hovind in a maximum security prison, and every time he's moved have him in cuffs and leg irons.  Whether you agree with him or not, does he deserve to be treated like someone dangerous?

And besides, I take it you are a fervent believer in evolution.  So you hate the point of views of Creationists.  Sir, can you give me ANY irrefutable proof of evolution?  If you have any, please present it to me!  Prove there isn't a god.

Mr. Knight

First, Kent is at satellite prison camp for minimum security inmates at the Edgefield Federal Correctional Institution, a medium security federal prison.

Second, Hovind is serving 10 years for tax-related crimes so I doubt he is considered dangerous to the public.

Third, we have evidence of evolution, including micro evolution, which even Hovind has accepted and such evidence does not prove whether a god exists or not.

"There are Al Qaeda operatives who have training camps on OUR OWN SOIL! "
- Do you honestly beleive that? That is such an unfounded claim.

"There are murderers and child molesters out there.  Why not spend out time and resources to go catch them instead of locking up Mr. Hovind in a maximum security prison, and every time he's moved have him in cuffs and leg irons."
- Maybe if the government got the hundreds of thousand dollars so they could use it to catch peophiles for example. If things like that go unpunished more ppl are gonna stop paying their taxes and no police/correctional work would have the funds to function properly.

"And besides, I take it you are a fervent believer in evolution.  So you hate the point of views of Creationists.  Sir, can you give me ANY irrefutable proof of evolution?  If you have any, please present it to me!"
- Does the allelefrequency change over generations in a population? It is a fact that it does and that is the definition of evolution. The theory of Evolution only explains the observed facts.
http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/0_0_0/evo_02
And for those who want to know how it works and understand it for the purpose of debating it (both sides i advise) this page is written by scientists for laymen.
http://evolution.berkeley.edu/

"Prove there isn't a god."
- Proving that there is no god is irrelevant and independet from evolution. You can't prove nor disprove god and any serious scientist accepts that. Just becuase creation didn't happen the rest of the bible isn't invalidated.

A list for you from talkorigins, well sourced claims.

"Claim CA202: Evolution has not been, and cannot be, proved. We cannot even see evolution (beyond trivially small change), much less test it experimentally. Source:
Morris, Henry M. 1985. Scientific Creationism. Green Forest, AR: Master Books, pp. 4-6.
Response:
  1. Nothing in the real world can be proved with absolute certainty. However, high degrees of certainty can be reached. In the case of evolution, we have huge amounts of data from diverse fields. Extensive evidence exists in all of the following different forms (Theobald 2004). Each new piece of evidence tests the rest.
    • All life shows a fundamental unity in the mechanisms of replication, heritability, catalysis, and metabolism.
    • Common descent predicts a nested hierarchy pattern, or groups within groups. We see just such an arrangement in a unique, consistent, well-defined hierarchy, the so-called tree of life.
    • Different lines of evidence give the same arrangement of the tree of life. We get essentially the same results whether we look at morphological, biochemical, or genetic traits.
    • Fossil animals fit in the same tree of life. We find several cases of transitional forms in the fossil record.
    • The fossils appear in a chronological order, showing change consistent with common descent over hundreds of millions of years and inconsistent with sudden creation.
    • Many organisms show rudimentary, vestigial characters, such as sightless eyes or wings useless for flight.
    • Atavisms sometimes occur. An atavism is the reappearance of a character present in a distant ancestor but lost in the organism's immediate ancestors. We only see atavisms consistent with organisms' evolutionary histories.
    • Ontogeny (embryology and developmental biology) gives information about the historical pathway of an organism's evolution. For example, as embryos whales and many snakes develop hind limbs that are reabsorbed before birth.
    • The distribution of species is consistent with their evolutionary history. For example, marsupials are mostly limited to Australia, and the exceptions are explained by continental drift. Remote islands often have species groups that are highly diverse in habits and general appearance but closely related genetically. Squirrel diversity coincides with tectonic and sea level changes (Mercer and Roth 2003). Such consistency still holds when the distribution of fossil species is included.
    • Evolution predicts that new structures are adapted from other structures that already exist, and thus similarity in structures should reflect evolutionary history rather than function. We see this frequently. For example, human hands, bat wings, horse legs, whale flippers, and mole forelimbs all have similar bone structure despite their different functions.
    • The same principle applies on a molecular level. Humans share a large percentage of their genes, probably more than 70 percent, with a fruit fly or a nematode worm.
    • When two organisms evolve the same function independently, different structures are often recruited. For example, wings of birds, bats, pterosaurs, and insects all have different structures. Gliding has been implemented in many additional ways. Again, this applies on a molecular level, too.
    • The constraints of evolutionary history sometimes lead to suboptimal structures and functions. For example, the human throat and respiratory system make it impossible to breathe and swallow at the same time and make us susceptible to choking.
    • Suboptimality appears also on the molecular level. For example, much DNA is nonfunctional.
    • Some nonfunctional DNA, such as certain transposons, pseudogenes, and endogenous viruses, show a pattern of inheritance indicating common ancestry.
    • Speciation has been observed.
    • The day-to-day aspects of evolution -- heritable genetic change, morphological variation and change, functional change, and natural selection -- are seen to occur at rates consistent with common descent.

Furthermore, the different lines of evidence are consistent; they all point to the same big picture. For example, evidence from gene duplications in the yeast genome shows that its ability to ferment glucose evolved about eighty million years ago. Fossil evidence shows that fermentable fruits became prominent about the same time. Genetic evidence for major change around that time also is found in fruiting plants and fruit flies (Benner et al. 2002).

The evidence is extensive and consistent, and it points unambiguously to evolution, including common descent, change over time, and adaptation influenced by natural selection. It would be preposterous to refer to these as anything other than facts.

Sounds like Mr. Hovind can't even behave himself in prison.  That guy has major problems.

I was so shocked and very disappointed when I read about Kent Hovind's arrest.  I used to be a "fan" of his ministry, even though I didn't agree with some of his attitudes and methods.  What a reproach to the cause of Christ to be arrested for something like that!  We all have to pay taxes - I don't like it either, but he did break the law.  The only time we have the freedom to break the law is when it goes directly against God's laws.  God wasn't in this at all.  I read part of a blog by some very unGodly people and, sad to say, they made some very good arguments against his doing this.  How sad!  I am going to pray that Mr. and Mrs. Hovind will spend their time of incarceration repenting.

Diana,
I truly doubt that Kent repents for his actions. His belief, along with Calvinistic philosophy that some Christians have, is that he will be saved through believing that Jesus will cleanse them from their sins. No matter, how terrible their sins are, they believe that God will allow them into heaven. This is the philosophy that has turned many away from Christianity.

Corey,
Thank you for your comments.  As far as the doctrine of Calvinism goes, I believe, and have told many(including a former boss ) that it is a doctrine of satan – it is anti-bible.  I agree with what you said about beliefs that turn many away from Christianity.  I’ve been praying that the entire body of Christ will repent because for quite some time now, when I witness to people, they immediately throw up a “prefabricated wall” and say they don’t want to hear it because of the way Christians act.  Whatever Kent Hovind believes now, God can get through to him, if we pray for him.  So I’ll continue to pray that the Lord will open his eyes.

As for Dr. Hovind, he may have had poor judgement. But nobody can deny his righteousness before God, nor the enormity of his work. And yes, I believe in Satan, and he doesn't like Dr Hovind telling the truth, for darkness doesn't like light.

My prayers are with this good man, and his wife. Don't let his misfortunes convince you of the quality of his work and faith.

"As for Dr. Hovind,"

that should read "Mr. Hovind"
his degree isn't recognise by the larger part of the world, and he thesis isn't up for review, so he doesn't really deserve it.

"But nobody can deny his righteousness before God, nor the enormity of his work."

ya, and that doesn't change the fact that it's all lies and misrepresentation of reality.

"and he doesn't like Dr Hovind telling the truth,"

it's more likely he's USING hovind to turn people from christianity.
the man doesn't speak truth, he distorts it.

"convince you of the quality of his work and faith."

don't worry, his work won't become any less of a pile of shit.

That's an understatement.

Hmm.... Personally, I would have said "no one can deny that he's a pathological liar who shows strongs signs of narcisstic personality disorder" - but your phrasing is certainly more diplomatic.

And yes, I believe in Satan, and he doesn't like Dr Hovind telling the truth, for darkness doesn't like light.

Satan must love Hovind, then - because the man is a habitual, bald-faced liar (constantly bragging-up his diploma mill doctoral "degree," repeating erroneous claims after being corrected numerous times, etc).

My prayers are with this good man, and his wife. Don't let his misfortunes convince you of the quality of his work and faith.

Oh, don't worry - the "quality" of his work speaks for itself.

and while he might remind you of Job, that doesn't change the fact that he spews crap like there is no tomorrow.
the man has been thuroughly pointed out on his errors, and he has yet to correct them.
it's amazing his level of intelectual dishonesty.

Well you always could raise emotions couldnt you Kent.  Thankyou.  As we read this column we realy discover where people are at dont we?  We have the wishy washy, the judgemental, the condemning.  Doesnt the Bible tell us not to do any of that?

I can see all the foul mouthed evolutionists lining up on Kent.  Their egos took a beating from the man and believe me their egos cant take much.  Paper warriors beating the air.  But its you people who call yourselves Christians who get me.

So quick to believe the worst even when it comes from very unreliable sources such as the US government that has been found at the bottom of so many scandals over the years.  If you dont believe me go to the same court records touted a few paragraphs back aqnd review
it all in black and white.

We put you at the center of our prayer circle Kent so I hope you get this and it encourages you in your difficulty.  You will always continue in our thoughts.  God bless you and your family richly.  Love Kent Clark

PS-  That prayer circle is world wide Kent.  People in every language are united.  Join us in praying for Kent every monday night at 7.

Yeahhhhh, no. You made the claim, you back it up - that's the way it works.

Oh, sorry - let me put that in words you're more likely to undertand: "substanciate ypur clams."

there is a real world out ther sci where people read history and newspapers and all that. and dont need quotes for every little detail of life.  Who blows your nose?    That the Us government is corrupt does not need backing up to anyone with a close to normal intellect.  Thank you for classifying yourself.

The delusions are yours.  Sane people do not react violently to discussion.  They dont try to disqualify well known facts for the sake of argument.  Many of the contributions to this page are adequate evidence that they have internet in psyche wards.  Where else would you and your friends find time to be on it constantly and say such insane things?  And as for prayer not being productive, I guess we will see what God has in store for Kent wont we?

And if I had asked for a quote "for every little detail of life," you might have a point. But since I asked you to provide a single, specific quote (one that you claimed existed), it sounds like you're just trying to distract from the fact that you can't back up your claims.

That the Us government is corrupt does not need backing up to anyone with a close to normal intellect.  Thank you for classifying yourself.

In total, I've probably spent about 2 months in the US during my entire lifetime - so I really couldn't not care less about the US government. My comment was solely regarding the fact that you're making vague claims - and then failing to back them up (which appears to be standard operating procedure for fundies).

they have internet in psyche wards.

I'll have to take your word for it.

Where else would you and your friends find time to be on it constantly

I'll let you in on a little secret: there are actually people in the world who have jobs that involve computers (shhhh, don't tell anyone). Not only that - some of us have learned this amazing skill known as "touch typing." Unbelievable, I know - but it's true.

And as for prayer not being productive, I guess we will see what God has in store for Kent wont we?

Yes, yes - "if there be a hell, then there we shall meet" and all of that.

- And i guess you're not one of them since you call us bad names and accuse us of things no sane person could find where you got it from.
This isn't judgemental? : "I can see all the foul mouthed evolutionists lining up on Kent.  Their egos took a beating from the man and believe me their egos cant take much."

"Doesnt the Bible tell us not to do any of that?"
- Yeah it also says you should stone disobedient children and not lie. Guess whitch one Hovind does and does not ;)

"So quick to believe the worst even when it comes from very unreliable sources such as the US government that has been found at the bottom of so many scandals over the years."
- Probably the reason why we take all our sources from berkely, oxford and harvard instead ^^ (insert any other credited university or college)

"Love Kent Clark"
- EY! loving another man is not permitted by your religion stop it or you will go to hell.

" That prayer circle is world wide Kent.  People in every language are united."
- Yeah you probably got 1 man in my country. Maxmimum. 85% of them are atheists and the rest are not completely insanse.

"Join us in praying for Kent every monday night at 7."
- Nice of you to tell the time, but not the time zone. I could be praying now even if it isn't 7 here, but it is in england.
